HAMDAN ABDULLA AL SAYYAH

Managing Partner and CEO

Hamdan Abdulla Al Sayyah is an Emirati who founded ALS LEGAL as Al Sayyah Advocates & Legal Consultants in 2005. Hamdan qualified as a lawyer in Dubai attaining his law degree from Dubai Police College and later obtaining his Masters in Law from Sudan.

Hamdan is qualified to all levels of Courts within the United Arab Emirates and has expertise in both Civil and Criminal law handling a number of high profile and varied cases since founding the firm. His qualifications also extend to allowing him to practice in and appear before the Courts in all Emirates within the UAE, as well as undertaking arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution.

Hamdan is fluent in both English and Arabic and practices law in both languages and is known for his practical and commercial approach to legal issues where the needs of the client are paramount and finding the best possible solution for the client in an efficient and professional manner.

Hamdan represents a number of local families within the United Arab Emirates which include members of the Dubai Ruling Family, as well as other prominent families and their businesses.

ANTHONY DAVIES

Lawyer and Partner

Anthony qualified in the United Kingdom, and having practiced primarily in real estate and commercial leasing moved to Dubai in 2006.

With over 17 years legal experience, the last 11 of which have been spent in Dubai, Anthony has worked in a diverse number of roles, working initially for a large Government owned Master Developer and since 2009 in private practice.

Anthony’s areas of expertise are primarily in commercial contracts, commercial transactions, leasing and general business support work for a variety of private clients and businesses.

Through his work with ALS Legal and with large local clients and businesses, Anthony has obtained extensive experience in UAE Law, dealing with commercial and contractual negotiations, business structuring, commercial leasing and real estate matters as well as dispute resolution.
